This place is truly incredible. It has been the highlight of our honeymoon. The property is beautiful. The house is amazing. The hosts, Mark and Anne Marie, are hospitable, helpful and very kind. We especially loved the animals! Chickens, Roosters, Kitties, Dogs (Bilbo and Tilly!) and a heard of tiny baby pigs. Not only is this place amazing but the surrounding sights are a must for any trip to the area. Beautiful AND historic! Thank you Lawcus Farm! Wow! Just wow!

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Stone Room". Very Rustic and charming. The bed is sooooooo comfortable!

We stayed here during a recent family vacation and couldn't have been happier. Mark and Ann Marie were so friendly, interesting to talk to and welcoming. We felt comfortable the moment we arrived and felt like they were practically family by the time we left. They even went the extra mile and helped us when we accidentally got a flat tire by hitting a rock near the road on our way back from town. We would have been lost without their help! :) The scenery is beyond beautiful and so peaceful, the food was fantastic and the accommodations were clean and cozy. We loved all the animals around and we even got a tour of Mark and Ann Marie's home the day we left. Talk about amazing! We stayed at four different B & B's around Ireland during our trip and this was by far our favorite. We hope to go back some day and stay for longer. Visit them, you absolutely won't be disappointed!!!

Wonderful two night stay for our family with two teenage boys. Ann Marie and Mark were very kind and made us feel very welcome. It was the perfect stopping point between our stay in Cork and on to Dublin. Breakfast was great, rooms were very nice, and the farm is beautiful....would have liked to stay longer. Mark is quite the visionary. Creating a wonderful place in the country for his family and lucky guests!

If you like picturesque, farm fresh food, the joy of animals you can pet, and very gracious hosts, I strongly recommend Lawcus farms. I am not much for the great outdoors ( though my partner is) I really enjoyed being at their farm. Ms. Lawcus took us around while she fed the pigs, chickens and horses. It was pretty incredible!

Room Tip: The only reason I gave location a very good vs an excellent is because it was a bit off the beaten track...but they would need to be because they had so much land. The room was good, but it had a queen bed vs a king...guess I am a little spoiled.

If you only have time for one stop in Ireland, we wholehearted recommend staying at Lawcus Farms. It was an amazing experience we will never forget and the highlight of our trip. Ann Marie and Mark opened their home and hearts and embraced us totally. Their wonderful animals were an added delight and welcoming as well. The guest house rooms were spacious and beautiful along with access to cozy family rooms with a warm fireplace. It is the kind of place you want to stay for ever. Ann Marie’s breakfasts were outstanding and every suggestion for dinner and activities were perfect and well worth doing. Lawcus farm was everything we hoped for and more.
