We stayed at this hotel in a very nice updated suite for one night and ate dinner in the dining room that night.

Pros: Very nice dining room overlooking the bay and a nicely landscaped courtyard. Nicely decorated in a traditional supper club way. Very comfortable setting. You can wear casual clothes or a step up from that and fit in. My brandy old fashioned was very good. My salmon special had a raspberry chipotle glaze topping that was excellent! The salmon was cooked perfectly. (I can't remember what else I had.) The dining room manager that evening was a very pleasant young woman who was asking diners about their meals. Luckily, she put an end to some loud obnoxious singers in the bar!

Cons: Our waitress was good but was a little too fast! She talked really fast when she told us about the specials, I had to ask her to repeat them a couple times. She seemed to be in a big hurry all the time. She brought our food out fairly fast, almost too fast. Kept calling us "guys". Also, when we were done, she slapped our bill on the table and walked away. We assumed she would return to get the credit card and take care of the bill, so we waited about 10 minutes for her to come back. We realized she was gone so we paid up at the hostess desk. Kind of strange to pay that way at a nice place. It would have been nice if our waitress would have thanked us and told us where to pay before she took off.

Also, there is a large bar that is opened to the dining room. The stage is next to this open area so needless to say, you can hear the "band" or "singers" in the dining room. It was fine at first, there was a decent singer - not too loud. About halfway through our dinner, we started hearing loud off-key drunk Kareoke singers! Really loud and really annoying! This was at least an hour before the dining room closes at 9 pm. Luckliy, the dining room manager was doing a walk thru and asked us how our dinner was. We asked her what was going on, she apologized for the noise and said she would tell them to stop. And they did stop. Thank Goodness. Just be aware that you can hear loud singers or bands in the dining room.

Overall, the food, the view and the dining room atmosphere were very nice!!

Good food, reasonably priced. Wine, by the glass, was inexpensive. Service was also very good. I have been here before and will return when in the area.
