Well, to start with - I rarely go to a local restaurant when Frankfort is infested with tourists and their odd expectations, so my experiences here are different than some people.
A group of us came here for lunch after a morning of hiking. Our orders ran the gamut from burgers to pulled port to the grilled ham and cheese - and an extra order of sweet potato fries. We don't expect a lot, but the service was good and the food well prepared. The corn and bacon chowder was slightly bland, but decent after a cold, windy, morning. All six of us were served promptly and enjoyed the food. People liked the pulled pork and found it smoky and tasty. The sweet potato fries were very good, crisp and not greasy.
A decent meal, nothing special, but in a nice place with good service. A little pricey, but par for a tourist town where free spending vacationers drive up prices for everybody else.
