We couldn't have had a more enjoyble Thanksgiving. The Staff if so friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make your stay everything you could want. We spent 2 days and 2 nights, and my Grandchildren didn't want to leave to enjoy the town, let alone to go home. The new Waterslides are great for older kids ( 7 to 70). And the little ones loved the pools. It was great family time. This is our 5th year and it just keeps getting better and better. Already signed up for 2012.

Room Tip: When have been on every floor, and each room is quiet and comfortable. But if you are going as a fa...

Dear Mary R.,

So glad we have your children hooked! Hope to meet you all on your return visit! Your right about the ages of sliders. I have seen 70 year old on the slides already. The body slide requires riders to be 42 inches tall. The Tube slide requires 48 inches but children 42 inches can ride with a parent! We will always keep working on how to have more FUN at the Lodge in the years to come!

Merry CHRISTmas!

A stay at the Bavarian Inn is like coming home: a welcoming staff from check-in to check-out, suggestions in planning activities in the area, delicious food, squeaky clean rooms and smiles and more smiles!
This is a VERY family-friendly lodge where all ages find plenty to do and enjoy and where the noise levels are never bothersome. In fact, there's so much for kids to do at the Inn and in Frankenmuth that they're ready for bedtime in the evening.
A wonderful restaurant, a lounge for the adults, a game area for kids, 5 pools and waterslides make the Bavarian Inn a must stay when visiting the Frankenmuth area. On one visit, the owner even came by our breakfast table to make our little girls feel very special. It's obvious that everyone here goes above and beyond!

Room Tip: Be sure to get a river view if possible. Very scenic and relaxing.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge has it all, in one convenient location! I love dining at Oma's Restaurant and the wonderful entertainment in the Lorelei Lounge! It's close to the Birch Run Outlets, so you can have a wonderful dining and lodging experience, go the outlets for the craziness of outlet shopping, then return to the quite atmosphere of the Bavarian Inn Lodge!

We had a great time visiting Frankenmuth over the past weekend. Started our trip at the Birch Run outlet mall which has a multitude of stores and also several places to eat. Then went into Frankenmuth and checked into the Bavarian Inn Lodge. The staff were very friendly, professional and accomodating. Our room was very attractive, spacious, comfortable, and clean. There were 5 pools and 2 hot tubs to choose from, and we chose to spend time in the adults only pool and hot tub area which was both quiet, and relaxing. If you are there with the family the other pools, including slides, and hot tubs is the place to be along with a large arcade, put put golf, and snack area. We ate in the hotel restaurant which had a nice menu including the local favorte friend chicken. We then chose to walk, which was very enjoyable over the town's covered bridge, to a close shopping area that had many small unique shops and boutiques. We also enjoyed the local holiday lights. We ended our trip with a stop at Bronners where you can find any Christmas decoration on the planet. Wear comfy shoes and plan to spend a couple hours getting lost in Christmas.

Room Tip: We stayed in a double room, but would have preferred a king. Also if you are there for a romantic w...

Dear Traci C.,

So glad you enjoy Frankenmuth at Christmas time and chose to include the Lodge and Restaurant into your experience. Love the idea of getting "lost" in Christmas! We appreciate you choosing the Lodge and promise, we will always have an adult only pool area to assure you a peaceful alternative to playing with children!

Thank you for staying with us and Merry CHRISTmas to you and your family!

We love the Bavarian Inn Lodge as our yearly family holiday "getaway." Our three year old twins love the pools, arcade, & miniature golf course. It is a large & sprawling lodge, with a lot of room, but still has a small inn atmosphere. It is a nice break from the larger indoor water parks, more relaxing & family friendly. We look forward every year to our trip & can't wait to make memories here every year.

Room Tip: We love the fun center level rooms, as they are closer to the action for our kids!

We go to the Bavarian Inn Lodge about 3 times a year and find it a very quiet, peaceful place to stay. We love to eat at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant and shop in the town's many stores. The pool and hot tubs are also great.

Room Tip: We love the rooms that look out over the river.

My wife and I stayed here one night, mid-week, in November. It was very quiet, with comfortable accomodations. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It seems as though it was geared more towards a "family" with the extra ammenities, but dont let that change your mind if you are looking for a quiet night alone :) The location is superb, as it is in easy walking distance to downtown, but off the main road enough to be very quiet. Frankenmuth is a great town, with great folks... have fun!!

Dear Jimisalreadytaken,

Thank You for expressing how peaceful it can be at the Lodge. When school is in session, we rarely have large numbers of children and do in fact host thousands of couples over the years. Regardless of the number of children, having the adult pool and whirlpool is a great unique amenity that assures you some relaxation regardless of families present. We work hard to manage noise levels in hallways year round as well. Hope to be a tradition with you in the future. Our reservation staff are good at knowing when a lot of children or few children will be present in the future! Thank you for your stay!

Sincerely,
