Restaurant is located off I-75 Exit 122. Have to navigate through an office park to get to it. Went there on a Friday night. Server was excellent and attentive. Had to wait a little while for the food. Cheesy potatoes weren't hot, but were immediately replaced. One kid had a bacon cheeseburger for the first time there said it was great. Chicken pineapple salad had plenty of chicken and wife said she would have it again. I prefer this CB to the one at the Bridgeport exit on I-75

This is a frequent after church breakfast stop. It's the only place in the area where one can get real country ham. They've had a menu change in recent months that renders the choices a little more confusing.

We are tea drinkers, and their tea service leaves much to be desired. The "hot" water is usually anything but that, and a pot of extra water is usually not forthcoming. We have mentioned that to the manager on many occasions, but to no avail.

The sawmill gravy, which used to contain sausage, now is completely devoid of it, and what used to be 100% maple syrup served with pancakes is now 55% maple and 45% corn syrups. I assume that these are cost-cutting measures.

Other than that, the food is as it always was. Unfortunately,in order to get the country ham without ordering one the standard, high-column breakfasts (sampler, Uncle Herschel's Favorite, etc.), you have to order a la carte (less food, which is what we want, but at a premium in price). We will go back occasionally, if only for the country ham.

We stopped here on the way home from Detroit for a Sunday breakfast. We hit it during the after church crowd was arriving and there was a 45 minute wait. But, as always, breakfast here hits the spot. We each had the Sampler Breakfast, and were happy with our choice. Server was very friendly, though she forgot us a couple of times.

For whatever reason, the Flint and Bay City locations always seem to be better experiences for us than Bridgeport (Saginaw).

Family restaurant with a great atmosphere. Antiques and pictures on the walls, a lit fireplace, little tables with checkerboards to play on. Great country type meals, meatloaf, chicken, steak, fish, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, rolls, biscuits, sandwiches and soup. After your done or while your waiting for a table you can visit the country store. It has the old fashion penny candy's of the past and all kind of collectables and clothes. Lots of parking. clean and friendly.
