If you like garlic, the brick-oven pita bread and garlic dip will give you serious cravings. A note of warning: The garlic stays on your breath for the rest of the day and leaves an aftertaste that is impossible to completely cleanse away.
The sandwich wraps are very good as well. I ordered the Lamb Kabob sandwich wrap and my wife ordered the fajita wrap. Both were excellent!
The last time I ate at Taboon was over a year ago, and at that time, I ordered a lamb dinner entree and the lamb was the most tender and best tasting that I've ever had.
This place is on the very tippy-top of my favorites list in the "lamb" and "appetizer bread bowl" categories.
The decor is nice, with a good amount of booth seating as well as table settings for larger groups. There is a small fountain in the dining room with an odd feature... a plastic bucket on a pump. Be sure to walk over near the brick oven and peek inside. You'll see lots of little pita breads baking in there.
I MOST-HIGHLY recommend Taboon at the Valley if you love lamb and brick-oven bread.
