What a great place to watch a movie. I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and they no drive ins but when I moved to the east side of the state I fell in love with this drive in. This is a great place to visit with 3 screens.

The new owners brought back to life what as always been a fun hidden gem. Kids always have fun and two movies for the price of one - what more can you want!

Back when I was a teenager, there were a lot of drive-ins all over the state. Now there is only this one (close by). Even this one was closed for a few years, not that long ago. I'm glad that this place has been re-opened and the third screen added (a few years ago, as well).

The movie sound is broadcast on FM radio instead of those staticy old speaker boxes that you used to mount on your car window (I can still remember the flyers that they'd hand out at the ticket booth saying "please return the speaker boxes, if you drive-off with them attached to your car"). The posts for those are still there to keep cars lined up tightly. They offer free jump-starts if you run down your car battery, playing the movie sound on your radio too loud.

All of the movies are shown "double feature", so plan on leaving around 1 or 2 am the next morning if you are watching both. Be sure to bring jackets and blankets and bug spray.

For food and snacks, I suggest you plan ahead and pick up some pizza at Jet's or the place across the street, or get some ice cream and drinks at the old Kroger next door. The concession prices are high... but not ridiculously high as in the NCG Trillium theater.

The concession stand is interesting to visit, and brings back memories of old times. A new modern feature is that the menu boards have been replaced with flatscreen TVs.

If you visit in a new car, remember to set your lights in the "off" position when you run the engine to heat up your car, or use the defroster (on cold nights).

If you plan on sitting outside your car in lawn chairs or blankets, beware of the goose poop. Maybe bring a tarp.

You gotta go here at least once every summer. If you have young kids, or friends with young kids, who have never been to a drive-in, this is an experience they should not miss.

Every kid should experience life the way we did it back then! Make a paper sack filled with popcorn, take a lawn chair and blanket and watch their favorite new Disney flick!

We drive from out of town for the drive-in experience. I've been to alot of them and this one is the best. The people are nice and the munchies are good. Its clean and fun! The kids have a great time.
