We love Anita's Kitchen but we had the wait every time we come. The tables are crammed in tightly-elbow to elbow so you get to hear your neighbor's dinner conversation and bump their chair or table on your way out. What they lack in atmosphere they more than make up for in food quality. They use the freshest ingredients and everything is prepared to order. Their lamb chops are tender, tasty and prepared well. The lemon lentil soup had an interesting flavor profile that I am still deciding whether I would get it again. The baked falafel was very good and their garlic sauce is some of the best I have had. The chicken swarma was moist and flavorful. The brick roasted chicken was a bit salty (on both our visits) for our taste. We always save room for one of their lemon tarts. Service is unfortunately not as consistent as their food; that is an area where they definitely have room to improve. Despite the long waits and the predictable parking space deficiency, we will return for the excellent food.
