This restaurant changed owners a year or so ago and we came back because of a referral by friends. The menu has many excellent choices and the mission to buy local and buy Michigan is a draw. The food is excellent and we plan to go back the next time we are in the area. It is a short drive from Douglas and worth it.

You must save room for the homemade S'more dessert! Amazing freshly homemade marshmellow with a graham cracker cake, chocolate and caramel sauce. Spectacular!

The appetizers, drinks and entrees were also excellent! We will be going back again~

I have to admit, I often give very good reastaurants the highest tripadvisor score of 5. This place was a 10. Our meal was so good that my family thought it was funny. We kept smiling....... here we were in Fennville, MI, a little town about a block long, and we're only there because a friend said the restaurant was very good, and we had just about the best food I can ever remember having. The steak was fantastic. Almost everything on the menu was local, and it was all prepared so well. And this review is coming from someone who works in downtown Chicago and eats at top restaurants every week. I should also mention that it's kid friendly there. Don't miss out on this place if you are vacationing in Saugatuk or South Haven.

This place is just a short drive outside of South Haven, however if you are within 50 miles of this place on vacation I would recommend this drive. The service here can not be topped and the food was the best that we had our whole trip. I would recommend the pizza for your first meal here, however if you try the pizza I fear that you will not want to try anything else on your next visit as the taste of the fresh ingredients is absolutely amazing. They utilize as much locally grown ingredients as possible and from what I could tell all of their food is organic. Just remember, try not to fill up on the bread they bring before your meal, although it is made onsite and you will not want to stop eating it either.
