Description: A 100 year old restored hotel overlooking Sleeping Bear Dunes Nation Lakeshore and Little Glen Lake. Food is all home-made and servings are generous. Best place around for quality, service and atmosphere.

For "old timers," this is LeBear moved to a new location. The food is well-prepared and the staff is friendly. The Manor is a large renovated home on Glen Lake but the menu seems dated. The complimentary glass of champagne at Sunday's brunch continues from the former restaurant and is a nice touch.

I have reviewed this before but wanted to draw attention to it again with the Summer Season in full swing. Not only is the food great but talking with the owner, Nancy Wright is a great memory. please ask her questions of the history of the Manor. She has always been a member of the family that has owned it and has wonderful stories. Just a great place to have a great meal with a great view of Little Glen.

It really is a most beautiful spot! But the great surrounding trees are dead.
And a historic building. But not in good repair.
There is so much potential.
But the food is marginal.
Seems the owner cannot decide whether to really make this live up to it's potential or just let it decline.

We enjoyed a good family dinner here when it was difficult to get reservations in Glen Arbor or the Homestead. Nancy, the waitress was most pleasant and gave us great service, food was good, and setting with Glen Larke view was lovely!

it is the worst place I have ever been to and they should be ashamed of themselves for being open. Shabby and unkempt. We wanted eat outside, we did, but the floor, ceiling of roof, tables, and chairs were filthy. The food--awful! I feel sorry for the wait staff to have to serve their food. We had the special and it was nothing different than opening a TV dinner and opening it and heating it up! STAY AWAY!
