Joe's continues to be an unpretentious, nice place to eat a simple meal. The burgers that were once (maybe 20 years ago) spectacular there are now just very good and the chili might have slipped a bit, but the restaurant continues to serve food that is better than average and is reasonably priced. What hasn't changed is the setting. Joe's is comfortable and rustic. It's the kind of place that, before we moved up here, we used to visit just for a flavor of "Up North". That favor is still there and as succulent as ever.
