GREAT food, very nice to sit on the patio by the fire. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait and the happy hour prices are phenomenal

Stopped in for lunch about 11:30 a.m. The place wasn't very crowded, however, they did not have enough wait staff. It took quite some time to get seated, to place an order, to get the food, and finally to ask around about getting the bill. Overall, it just took way longer than we expected to have a quick lunch! The food must have sat awhile before being served, because the burger was lukewarm at best. The quality of the food was fine, and the tuna salad melt sandwich ordered was good, but the service was really lacking. Quite disappointing.

Met my two old roommates from MSU (back in the 60's) for a great lunch. The three of us ordered the soup and sandwich and we all liked it. The tomato basil soup was very good. We chatted for a couple house over a couple glasses of wine and they didn't seem to care how long we were there (it wasn't busy though). Nice, clean place with friendly staff. It's a well established place - the receipt says "celebrating 31 years". Full bar.

Had lunch on the patio, last Monday. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap and we enjoyed their Big Ten burger. The prices are very reasonable, especially with their Monday promotion of 50% off on beer & wine. The only problem is the lack of service! After a long wait, a server served our food and never returned--had to go find her to pay the tab.

The Harrison Roadhouse serves typical bar food and exceptionally good White Chicken Chili... I can see why it keeps winning awards (as mentioned in the menu). I ordered the half sandwich and soup lunch. The sandwich of the day was Ham and Cheese, and it was good. My wife had the sandwich with the pretzel bun. It looked good. I tried a bite and enjoyed it.

The Harrison roadhouse has many craft beers on the menu, they also serve Coca Cola soft drink products. The beer prices are higher here compared to the cheapo campus bars. This is a place for MSU alumni and the local neighborhood residents who have a taste for quality brews.

The interior of this place is done up well... you'd hardly notice that this place was once a gas station (see the gallery of photos on their website).

The outdoor patio looks nice (we ate indoors but looked around a bit after our meal). I'm sure this place serves up some great parties on Friday and Saturday evenings and during MSU events. My wife and I enjoyed an early lunch on a Saturday morning (that's why there are no people in the photos).

The service was good, but possibly because we were dining at a slow time.
