Parking is a problem! the parking lot beside them is not theirs and will get you towed or asked to move your car. This was after we were already eatting that we were informed we had to move the car. Parking on the st. is metered and one in particular didn't work. after putting 2 quarters in this was discovered. Since it was only 10 mins til 6 (when you don't have to put money in) we chanced it and got a $20 ticket. WHAT? The restaurant has burgers, pizza, nachos etc. Lots of beer options! our waiter was great once he got to our table. (anyone who can take 7 orders and not write a thing down and everything come out right is good). Its just a nice little bar with bar style food that seems to be family friendly.

Crunchy's has great burgers and beers. We ate here 3 of the 4 days during our visit to Lansing. Lunch special was $5 for buger, fries, and drink. Great variety of specialty toppings, apps, pizzas, and beers. Affordable, fun, family friendly, and great staff.

Since this place is about a 5 minute walk from our house, we eat here all the time. The first thing you'll notice is the extensive micro brew beer selection, which also is changing all the time. The menu has very good and accurate descriptions, so if you know what you like, you'll find something good. If you don't know too much about beer, you can ask your server, but that's hit or miss. Some servers have a great deal of knowledge about the selection, some not so much. This is a college town bar, so there is a fair amount of turnover in the staff. There are also a few that have been there for years. The food menu is pretty extensive and I have literally never had anything bad. We almost always start with the soft pretzels . . . make sure you order them with the cheese sauce and the spicy mustard - which is pretty damn spicy. Burgers are what they are known for, so definitely try one of those - cooked to order, for real. If you order it rare, it will be rare. I'm also partial to the chicken wings and the pizza. If you're young and crazy, you can also order a bucket of beer - which is NOT a bucket with ice and some beer bottles crammed in - it's a bucket full of draft beer that you dip your cup into to fill! Like I said, you've gotta be young to try that. While the food prices are very reasonable, be careful with the beers - they can add up if you have a few!

The service is always slow here and the waits are often long. This is the best place in mid-Michigan if you want a good pizza and a quality beer selection. The atmospere is very college-townesque, no frills. Grafitti and paper napkins and many young patrons.
