Owner description: MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

“A Great Campus for a Great School”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Michigan State University is still referred to by old timers who remember it as Michigan Agricultural College as “MOO U”. They have a beautiful campus with lovely areas to walk, and beautiful gardens to visit and admire. A large variety of facilities for shows, sports, entertainment, etc. A few of these are the Jack Breslin Studen Events Center, The Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Sparton Stadium, Munn Ice Arena, and many others. It is worth a visit if in the Lansing, MI area.

“hockey game”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

It was an amazing experience! I would go to another in a heartbeat. The band playing and fams chanting. Total different atmosphere than an NHL game.

“Great college”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

The campus of MSU is amazing. While it is large, with over 48,800 students, the surroundings are beautiful. Large trees, bike paths, sidewalks, etc. make getting around quite easy. Students are helpful if you're lost while walking around. Take in a football game, tailgate and enjoy what the college has to offer.

“MSU Campus <3”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Even if you are not a student at MSU, you can still go around and see many interesting things.
There is a lot going around this campus, but most of the people just don't know it. Check the boards inside all the buildings.
*Library, Pool, Arts buildings and the Broad Museum (that's a must)

During the Winter, everything is covered with snow, it's very beautiful; but it may be dangerous when the sidewalks are frozen.
The buildings have free internet access to guests and they are well implemented.

It's so nice that it makes you want to be an spartan too!!

“Dorms or Fine Dining?”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

I absolutely love the transformations taking place all across MSU in the fomerly known dorm cafeterias, now appropriately being called dining halls... The options and quality of food and atmosphere is amazing! The freshman 15 is in danger of the First Year 25 or 50!!! I will choose to go to campus for breakfast, lunch or dinner ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! It's definitely money well spent - just make sure you choose your parking option carefully!!!
