“Super tasty!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

I had the malted waffles and my husband had a burger. It was great! Also loved that you could add endless champagne to anything for just a little bit more. Looked like they had a great bloody mary bar too. Would absolutely go again!

“Tired of the menu and one rude server!”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

We like some things on the menu but live in Douglas and are tired of the same limited menu. Last time we ere there we had to eat at a high top in the bar and our short blonde server was so rude we almost left. People are crazy to wait in line, its not worth it they are just desperate because there aren't many places to eat when the tourists invade in the summer!

“Great Oysters and Mussles”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

We spent one night in Douglas on a last minute trip to lake Michigan and had lunch at Everyday People. They offer a brunch with bottomless champagne or bloody Mary's so we had muscles/oysters and had some champagne. It gets pretty busy so you will most likely have to wait and walk around the small city until they call you on your cell phone. The waitress said they get their seafood in fresh on Saturday mornings and our meals were both delicious. It is a bit noisy and cramped; but the meal is good.

“Terrific food”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

The proprietor of our B&B steered us to this place, and it didn't disappoint. It was quite busy on a Monday night, but we got a nice table outside. Food and service were terrific and a nice improvement over some of the tourist fare in nearby Saugatuck. Make this a must visit for those headed to Saugatuck/Douglas.

“A wonderful restaurant - can't say more than that!”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

We had driven past this restaurant many times and decided one night to go for dinner. The outside and name are pretty ordinary, but as soon as you step inside - it all means nothing. We were greeted warmly and sat at the bar for 30 minutes while we waited for our table. We agreed we would sit outside in their patio / garden area as we it was very warm evening.
We didn't even know there was a rear outside seating area! When we taken to our table - we were surprised!
There is very pretty outside area with bar and the tables are nestled amongst the trees and umbrellas - and when the sun goes down - there are little lights around the fences and it becomes so magical!
Oh yes - the food! Wondeful - the tapas starter was delicious- plenty for two or more people and featured lots of local delicasies. Pesto pasta and pork chop were very good and we had the moules and a burger. Service was fantastic - our waitress was expert in her knowledge of everything and made our dining a great experience. Deserts were light and delicious - all home made.
Great wine list including local wines and beers and The Mai Tai cocktail packs a punch - boy!!
Would highly recommend this lovely place.
