We went with another couple who were regulars. The seafood corn chowder was excellent and worth the trip. The rest, so heavily seasoned it was hard to enjoy. The Caesar salad was heavy with garlic and the shrimp with chili powder that you could not taste the other ingredients. Our friends did say it was usually much better, Service was good but stilted, with many, "very goods" and commentaries on the excellence of our choices.
The restaurant itself was charming, though tables were tiny and we often did not have room for all of the plates. Bartender was great!
