“It gets you to Canada.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

What/s to say? It's a tunnel under a river. If you've never done that, by all means do it. Be sure to have your passport, you come up in downtown Windsor, Ontario. If you're headed to Toronto use the Ambassadoe Bridge. It mostly skirts Windsor.

“Why have I not gone this way before?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2012 via mobile

Omg after 15 years of traveling across the Detroit bridge and hating every bit about it from the line ups, the insane confusion of how to even find I75 after crossing the border....I finally tried the Tunnel. EVERYONE....why are we using the bridge? This is so much easier and direct. I will never cross at the bridge again. The signage is awesome and fast processing and not the lines that we later saw on the bridge

“Always nice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Always a nice safe drive through the tunnel either way. Courteous officers on both sides of the border. Just don't make any jokes or smart remarks when going through customs because, rightfully so, it is not a place to be silly and they do not take lightly to anything out of the ordinary and you will get pulled over if they find even the slightest suspicion. Go to Windsor and have fun!

“safe and clean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

I usually don't use the Tunnel but it has improved 100%, the tunnel looks very safe and clean if only we could get everyone to dim their headlights before going in that would make it so much easier to see.
