After an afternoon exploring Grosse Pointe area, we searched Yelp and decided to try Antonio's in the Park in Grosse Pointe Park. We always enjoy outdoor dining and liked the cafe seating, but on this breezy evening, we chose the dining room. We were seated immediately in the dining room (1/2 full) with its nice atmosphere. Great attentive service with genuine smile made the difference. Warm sliced Italian bread with butter served immediately. Fresh Caesar salad, simple pasta choices.

This is our new local restaurant in GPPark, MI. A group of 6 of us have gone several times. Great service, wonderful food. The Chicken or Veal Piccata were especially good. We've gone early, before a show & later - with several rooms, we've never had a problem being seated.

Nice little authentic Italian eatery in Grosse Pointe something. Was greeted and seated very quickly. Saturday night at 8 pm I was concerned there would be a wait. There was not. Service was quick and efficient in greeting us, getting us our drinks and bread. Italian bread with real butter. The break was ok. Nothing to write home about, but satisfactory. The menu is varied and has a lot of very diverse dishes. I like veal and they have a very nice veal dish selection. I ordered a veal dish with a creamy tomato sauce and layered with prosciutto. It was very good. The veal was cut thin and the addition of prosciutto and some cheese melted in the mouth very nicely. A little salt was helpful, but not alot. The broccoli side was fine. Before the main dish I had a house salad. Nice greens, dressing was a creamy red wine vinegarette which was fairly unremarkable and a tad tart. Some Parm cheese and cracked pepper helped. The masterpiece of the evening however was the first thing I had, which was an appetizer called Scmorza. This is a unique dish and probably very high in calories! It is not French Toast, however it sort of looks like it. Delicious and delicate layers of Italian Bread and Mozzeralla pan fried in butter and topped with a surprisingly good lemon garlic sauce and chopped olives. Very unlike anything I have had before and the melding of flavors and textures were really outstanding. This place has some potential, but I'm afraid if they don't get some people in there, they are going to be set up to close...
