Haven't been here for twenty years but stopped in for lunch on the way back to Canada. It's so close to the Ambassador Bridge so easy to get to. Great food and super fast service.

average because the last time I visted when I sat down and was waiting for my order a friend (and you know what I mean) was crawling up the wall, until that time that was my mexican restaurant downtown, food was always good but that was VERY disappointing, never been back. (Sorry, just being honest)

The ambience of the place is charming. They've got art from all regions of Mexico and beautiful mesmerizing paintings, each that tells a story.
The food is more Americanized than authentic and everything is cheesy. The chicken in my dish was dry and I had to struggle to take a bite and the menu description, to my mind anyway, didn't quite match what was served.
While the menu has a lot of options, or so it seems at first, there's not really that much to choose from.
Overall not bad for a Mexican restaurant in America; not expected from a Mexican restaurant in Mexican town in Detroit.
