“Lots of Little Sliders”

I visited Green Dot Stables with a social group. Some had been the Green Dots before and the rest of us were newbies. The place was packed and we had to wait about 20mins because we had a sizable group. The mini sliders were good and there was a good variety. You'll have to be several to get full.

“Hidden gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

We love Green Dot Stables. The sliders are great, they have an ample bar selection, it's always busy and the atmosphere is great. It's a little out of the way from the Downtown Detroit area but it is worth it.

“AWESOME QUALITY AND VALUE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

They have every flavor of slider you can imagine. VERY fast service . Drink prices are as cheap as you can find in Detroit. # bucks for craft beers and mix drinks. Don't let the part of town scare you its safe there....

“Hidden gem on Lafayette”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

My boss took our department here for lunch on the advice of his son, who works on Detroit's revitalization. The area is industrial and sparsely populated as you approach the Ambassador Bridge to Canada, and honestly it doesn't look like much from the outside...but inside, everything changes. Very comfortable brick and wood, accessorized in a colorful harness racing theme. A fully stocked bar, apparently specializing in different bourbons. Best of all, the menu is built around a single awesome question: how many creative, delicious ways can we execute a gourmet "slider?" (Though to be fair, "slider" doesn't do them justice; perhaps "micro-burger" would be better). Our group sampled themes including coneys, turkey/dressing, Korean, southern catfish, and yes, a traditional cheeseburger. My favorite had Dearborn ham and melted swiss. Heck, they even offer a few dessert-oriented sliders! Each sandwich costs $2-$3, and 3 will fill you, especially if you order fries for around the same cost. Come on down, park yourself (there's no valet), and try something different. I'll be taking my wife there soon.
