“Great venue for Broadway plays”

Just saw an excellent production of Memphis at the Fisher and, as always, enjoyed the beautiful buidling, one of Detroit's jewels, designed by Albert Kahn. All the friendly folk who work there helped make it a transcendent experience. The Nederlander family has been bringing the best road shows available to Detroit for many years, and we are very fortunate to be able to see them in a beautiful and comfortable venue.

I did not see a production but just visited the building - a splendid art deco masterpiece and definitely worth stopping by even to walk the halls

This is a great theater-we saw Book of Mormon there. My only complaint is the same with all of these venues-poor bathroom facilities with long lines. Get real you guys-women take a little longer in the bathroom!

We love this theatre for productions, such as The Book of Mormons. The building is a masterpiece in itself. The only drawback is the restroom facilities. You must go downstairs to use the restroom and there really should be more availabiliy.

The lobby of the historic theatre is so ornate and expansive. Staff and volunteers really know how to move the crowd through. Sound system was wonderful (we sat in the first row of the Loge). Inside of the theatre seems a little dated. Seems as if it were renovated in the 70's and hasn't been touched since. Well worth the drive from Toledo for a show!
