“A very good theater downtown Detroit”

The Fisher is not as large as the Fox Theater, thus one can have better views, sounds, and overall experience. Classic looks for a theater of the 1920s.

The magnificent light fixtures, about 26 types of marble, ceilings and fine bronze casting are each works of art in themselves.

We took in the holiday extravaganza & had a nice time. Really geared for family/kiddie audiences but the scale of the production in the old-time environment offered by the Fisher is what we went to see. Parking is kind of a challenge if the weather is bad. They do a good job guiding in/out but the queue is long and the walk to the theater was fairly long, so be prepared!

Love going to the theatre, and go to the Fisher often and never have had a problem. Will continue to go and recommend it to anyone.

Saw Rock of Ages a few months back...great show. Attentive volunteers who know the seating chart.
Beware...they now have a liquor license, so the lines are long to get a beer or glass of wine. Be prepared to wait.
