“Small but special”

Very small but accessible shop - so much history to absorb. We love the look of their designs and glazes - gaining insight into how they have evolved over the years just adds to the enjoyment. If you like Pewabic, suggest checking out Motawi Works out west of Ann Arbor. Totally awesome creations there, too!

“Historic Detroit”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Pewabic has been here since before Detroit was known for automobiles. It is amazing that the same tiles can be had today as were made then. Definitely worth a visit!

Great stop when showing out of town guests the downtown area. It's always fun to spot their tile around town.

“Very interesting”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Liked seeing a piece of history and the fact that it focused on a strong intelligent woman was a bonus. I just wish I could afford the beautiful artwork that was on display.
