“the vegetarian restaurant for non-vegetarians”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Only one of the four of us is a vegetarian, but all of us love this place. Most imaginative menu I have ever seen at a vegetarian restaurant! Inn Season in Royal Oak is good, but this is a much better option for the nonvegetarian. You will not miss meat here. Brought home takeout of green chili and pesto grilled cheese for a friend and they had no idea it was vegetarian! Don't miss the General Tso's cauliflower--the four of us shared it as an appetizer. Good service, and a full bar.

“Trendy...”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

I went to Seva with a friend last Saturday afternoon. If you're not into vegetarian food, I'm pretty sure that you will change your mind after visiting this trendy and interesting venue. The food is great, and the fresh juices are awesome and healthy. This is a vegetarian restaurant that actually has a bar on site that offers alcoholic beverages. The outdoor seating is a lovely space within an urban environment, nestled in the shadows of Detroit's Midtown and Medical center area. Definitely worth checking out.

“Only place that satisfies my picky family.”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Everyone in my family has diet restrictions. It is extremely hard to satisfy everyone's taste buds and health concerns. Seva is the first place that everyone speaks high of.

“A really neat restaurant”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

This is a really neat place with an extensive menu. It is vegetarian but had a great selection and all the dishes we tried were delicious. The location used to be an auto repair shop so is very bright and airy with big windows and high ceilings. Beautiful artwork on the walls. Would definitely go back.

“Worth the trip downtown!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a really nice find down town Detroit. It is walking distance from several of the Detroit Specialty Medical Centers. Everything is vegetarian and can be made vegan too. They have a fresh juice bar with vegetable juices and fruit smoothies. They are very happy to make anything on the menu to your liking, making substitutions or additions . The Yam fries were amazing, as well as the batter dipped cauliflower. They have a wide variety of sandwiches as well as entrees and also breakfast items. A little pricy, but unfortunately that is how it is if you want to eat healthy. The food that is really good for you also costs the most. This food was worth the cost!
