Wow...those steps were steep. The building itself exudes excitement and a competitive spirit. The arena makes for an excellent subject to photograph as well. Accessible from the People Mover!

Terrible facility!! Outside steps are ridiculous and STEEP. Food is even worse and very $$$$$. I thought the Red Wings were Hockey Town but this arena needs to be replaced. Wear a diaper because bathroom lines are long

The Detroit Red Wings are a fantastic original 6 team that deserve and upgrade to their home. The building is tired and a new one should be integrated better in the city as Joe Louis is separated and with the parking attached provides few options to enjoy Detroit before or after the game.
