Stayed here in February 2012 with my family. Two bed suite. Very clean, great amenities, convenient for a family. Convenient location. However, this place borders Detroit and so you can imagine the type of crowds it attracts. Did not always feel safe especially when parking at night although there is an "undercover" security officer that drives around the parking lot. Some of the folks we saw walking in and out of the hotel were quite scary. Also, lots of noise at night especially on weekends..parties, smells of smoke and marijuana and obvious drinking. Don't stay on first floor because you will feel like your upstairs "neighbor" is gonna come straight thru the roof. A shame because you definitely get a sense that the manager and staff are caring and concerned and really provided us with everything that we needed, but it's too bad that they can't screen who is allowed to stay at their property because that's really the biggest downfall of this place. Again, basic but clean rooms, beds not very comfortable, but overall wouldn't stay here again because of crowds. It was so bad that we were afraid to complain for fear of our drunk or drugged "neighbors" to retaliate. I don't know how some of these business men stay here for so long especially when they need to get a good and quiet nights rest.

Room Tip: Pull out bed no good for adults, parking after 5pm is terrible, expect to park far away from your ro...

Again, I stayed at this hotel on business for 2 weeks. The hotel is well kept, clean, and a great value. The rooms are small, and the bed was also small and sunk in the middle. That said, the kitchen was well equipped and the maid service excellent. The front desk attendants were all very pleasant and helpful. There was a 24 hour free coffee and tea set up in the lobby which was quite nice as well as a popcorn machine and home made cookies almost everyday. There are Plenty of stores closeby but you really need a car to get around. Overall a great stay!!

We had the 2 bed suite for 3 nights. Good accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean - except for the carpet in the living room which looked as if oil had been spilled on it.
The lady on reception was very friendly.
Only negative was the breakfast - not enough places to sit, no breads. Expected cold buffet only - but the property in Lombard, where we stayed a week earlier, was much better for breakfast choice & seating.
Detroit Institute of Art was fantastic. As was Greenfield Village.

I wanted to stay a the" Henry" but I wouldn't be spending a lot of time at the property so I didn't see the point. I checked in very late to the TownPlace and all that was avail was a handicapped friendly room. I was somewhat antiquated with a 27"TV (Tube). The facilities amenities were sparse and it did have a kitchenette but it was a throwback from "Happy Days". That morning I asked to be switched to another room and I was cheerfully accommodated. The new room was on the first floor with a larger flat screen TV but the kitchenette was still a throwback (-: No worries since I never used it. Overall a decent place to lay my head and the staff were great. I noticed this property stays packed due to the lack of parking when I came in so get there early if you can. Recommended.

I was in Dearborn for a business trip for about 75 days. This Hotel made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were cozy and had a small kitchen, refrigerator, oven, microwave TV etc which made this long stay easy. It is walking distance from Walmart, Best Buy, Target etc which was great. It also has a barbecue facility and a Gym. The staff was courteous. Room service could have been better. And on top of that, it was 5 minutes away from my office. The snow was cleared immediately when there was a snowstorm. What more can you ask for. I will stay there again for sure!

This was pretty good value for a holiday weekend. We stayed the three nights of the 4th of July weekend, when most places were expensive or booked out.

The purpose of our stay at Dearborn was to take in the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. This worked very well as it was less than 15 minutes drive.

The room was very spacious, had everything you'd ever want including a decent kitchen and comfortable King bed. Even the room's work desk with Wi Fi was larger that most hotels.

The guys at the front desk were friendly and good fun to talk to. We had a great view of the Village's fireworks from our room each night.

We also found that there were some real good restaurants within a short drive. All recommended by Trip Advisor, of course !

I stayed here in July 2010. I chose this place because it was cheaper to get a 2 bedroom suite here than 2 rooms in another hotel. It was very roomy with a TV in each of the bedrooms and another in the main living area. It had a full size kitchen will all the utensils, towels, soap you need. It was a quiet room, comfortable, and clean. It is close to restaurants and other stores where you can pick up food and other necessities. I definitely would stay here again.
