Lots of interesting collections and also historic items that you can touch and feel (ie. bus that Rosa Parks rode on when she wouldn't give up her seat). They often have special exhibits as well.

“Was pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

Went to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village this last summer. I thought all of the attractions were well maintained and quite honestly with the exception of something like the Smithsonian, I'm not sure there are that many places in this country that can compare in terms of overall offerings. For cars and other vehicles, I'm fairly sure there is no comparison. They have a fantastic assortment of offering in both places and the price is pretty reasonable. That Henry Ford dedicated so much love to this place is quite astounding... it is obvious because of the meticulous care that occurred with various exhibits. Love this place and would encourage anyone to go at least once, but I suspect you may want to go more often.

“Don't miss this museum!”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Great place to stop for a 3 to 4 hour visit.. The exhibits are awesome and for those with kids there are a lot of hands on things for them to see and do. The Imax was closed for maintenance so we didn't get to do that but that will just encourage us to make a second visit! The presidential cars display is awesome along with the early cars and steam engines! Easy access from the interstates and tons of parking!

“Refreshed, renewed and better than ever”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Without question one of the best industrial history museums-- or contemporary history museum of ANY kind-- I've seen. I've been the HF 4 times and most recently, last week. The renovation and updated exhibits are incredible, the facility is spectacular and the staff couldn't be friendlier. If all you know about Henry Ford and the impact he had on American culture is what you saw recently on the PBS slam-piece documentary, you owe yourself a visit to this magnificent museum.
