“"Serving Since 1937????”
Review of The Berry Patch

The Berry Patch
Ranked #1 of 1 Dessert in Copper Harbor
Description: This ice cream shop is run by a couple that put a lot of themselves into the business. The ice cream is delicious and the wild berry toppings are unique.

We stopped in here last year and again this year. Yum!!! Their Black Cherry ice cream is to die for. Nothing really fancy and in fact only 6 can fit in the little building but worth the wait! So many flavors. We got 2 waffle cones with 1 large scoop in each and it was $5.50 or something like that. Then when leaving saw their little sign "Serving ????? ice cream since 1937??" or something like that. 70 YEARS??? Can you imagine? That alone speaks for it's self, it has to be good!

A must stop for many years. Brenda and George are always scooping the best flavors. Stop after watching the Lake Superior sunset from Brockway Mountain!

This is a stop we always make in Copper Harbor. Ice cream is good

Though business owners in Copper Harbor seem to be more aggitated than the previous years!
This goes for the Tamarack Inn, Harbor Haus, and a few other shops we visited had very aggitated employees.

We stopped 10 o clock at night right after the sunset light house boat tour. We saw the lights on and they were still serving customers. I had my first taste of thimble berries here when I ordered the thimble berry Sunday. Relish! Their ice cream is so creamy and good it's better than whipped cream and berries! They also have a gift shop inside this nice little building full of jam and antiques. Friendly atmosphere. You wont be disappointed. Did I mention they have 31 flavors and some of them are sugar free!!
