We had eaten lunch there in the summer, and sitting by the water is very pleasant where you can park your boat right at their dock and eat. The sandwiches we had were very good. We tried their Sunday Brunch this past week in the cold, dead deep snow of winter. There were not a lot of people there (because of the weather), but the food was good, the service was excellent, and the chef was very friendly and talkative. He made us fresh Belgian waffles, omelets, the buffet table had a variety of meats, potatoes, fruits, pastas chicken, and the carving table had ham and roast beef.

All in all it was a very pleasant brunch that we shared with our family - not over fancy, but the food was good, and we'll definitely be going back.

We happened upon this wonderful restaurant while driving around Paw Paw Lake near Coloma, MI. It doesn't look like much from the parking lot, but walk around the side down to the lake and find the outdoor seating area of this gem. Round tables with umbrellas are placed on the patio and lawn all the way to the shoreline. Several large oak trees give a natural beauty to the setting. On the right is a small area where musicians set-up to play. The day we were there a keyboard player and guitarist serenaded us with pleasant music from different genres beginning at 7:00 pm. Indoor dining was also available. I didn't see it myself, but my husband said it was spacious and attractive. A good-size boat dock was available for those who wished to stop in while boating on the lake.

Our waitress, Shannon, said she had not worked there long, but she was knowledgeable and able to quickly answer all our questions about the menu. She was very friendly and was exceptional at serving us and making sure we had everything we needed.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. The bread was fresh-baked and if you desired, olive oil with freshly grated Parmesan cheese was served for dipping. It was delicious. Both our dinners were served with a tasty, fresh salad. I ordered a pasta dish with red sauce and meat balls ($9.95). It had a wonderful home-cooked flavor. My husband ordered an 8 oz New York strip steak served with a mushroom sauce that was perfectly cooked to order ($10.95). It was served with a baked potato. I can't remember whether or not a vegetable came with his meal. Both meals were generous and delicious.

The menu was diverse with everything from burgers and sandwiches to steaks, lobster, chicken, ribs, pasta and seafood. A kids menu with five different selections for $4.95 was also offered. Sunday Brunch was available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Waterfront had a nice wine selection and also served other types of liquor and beer.

I would highly recommend the Waterfront.

Whether you arrive by land or see, i am sure you will enjoy this restaurant. We wanted something a little more upscale than the local taverns and pubs, but still casual. This place fit the bill.
My wife and I enjoyed the martini specials on the patio overlooking the lake. With the evening setting, great food and great service, we were not disappointed.
What really impressed us was the prices for the quality. We were told by several people it was expensive. We found the prices very reasonable for the atmosphere and the selections, especially the daily specials.
You will not be disappointed. We only wish it were opened for lunch.
