We had read mixed reviews on this restaurant and have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. In fact we couldn't have been more impressed! We had a fantastic server named Wendy and from the moment she greeted us through finishing our last bite of carrot cake she gave us exceptional service. The suggestions of the heirloom tomato salad and the calamari were spot on. Every dish our table ordered was amazing! We were even more impressed when we realized that the chef smokes his meats in house. We'll definitely be back for the pulled pork and smoked chicken pasta. A must visit in northern Michigan!
