We found this diner in "Road Food", which usually is a good omen. But we couldn't really come up with anything better than a mediocre opinion on our recent lunch. The burger was cooked well and quite tasty. The fries were fresh. For a gluten-free option I had the tuna salad without bread, and the waitress was very supportive regarding my issues. But my plate looked like a 6th grader had plopped down a scoop of tuna, peeled off a slice of pre-sliced cheese, and microwaved the concoction for 30 seconds. Not terribly appetizing. The ambience is strictly diner-delight; clean with a pleasant deck area.

First and last time we would ever go! We actually took pictures of the menu because we couldn't believe the prices! $9 for biscuits and gravy, $3.50 for a piece of toast, $11 for a an egg salad sandwich and soup! The omelette was awful..just scrambled eggs with cheese and ham melted in it....We were paying and was telling the server we did not enjoy the food and thought it was too expensive when a worker(I think it may have been the owner) loudly tells us we had a chance to leave before we ordered. She was basically yelling at us in front of the other customers. Never have had such an awful experience!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Just read the other reviews which surprise me with their 'too expensive' comments. You want cheap, fast food? Hey, there's a Burger King not too far down the road. If you want a super sweet waitress (Jan) serving you a wonderfully prepared omelette and grilled fresh cinammon bread, than stop in here. When we are in Charlevoix once or twice a year, we eat a big breakfast here each morning, then skip lunch and never miss it a bit... It's our family tradition and a trip to Charlevoix wouldn't be the same without it. Do we spend a little more there than a Mc-something or other? Yes, but not having to buy lunch evens it all out anyway and the food and personal service are sooooo much more memorable.

Juilerettes is always the same, which is so nice when you come back year after year.
