We had a very pleasant week staying in Le Mas de la Tuilerie. The only problem we encountered was temperature - a bit too hot outside for comfort. However, this was alleviated by the lovely swimming pool. The owners of this charming period house have done everything to make visitors welcome - a bottle of champagne in the fridge of an impressively equipped kitchen, books to read, DVDs to watch, comfortable chairs to recline on, three en suite bedrooms, bicycles to ride and much more. The view from the terrace is verdant and tranquil, the only sounds those of the local cockerel crowing, the wind in the trees and the crickets clicking. Lots of picturesque villages to visit and the nearby Ardeche river to swim in.

We have stayed at this property about five times and absolutely love it. Le Mas is set in beautiful countryside with easy access to St Martin and Pont St Esprit and many wineries to choose from. It is a superbly converted property with additional two flats in the basement. It is very spacious and has has everything you could possibly need. The pool is set in lovely grounds with shade from the trees to help on very hot days! Weather has always been very sunny when we have been there. It really is a hidden gem and Ben the owner is great to deal with. Highly recommended!
