The resort and room were ok, average at best. This review is mainly for the resort restaurant, The Terrace. I had to send my meal back. I had ordered the prime rib (with a surcharge) and it was awful! It was dry and looked and tasted like bad ham. My replacement meal, a sirloin steak was barely edible, filled with fat and gristle. Another issue with the resort is the indoor pool and hot tub. It is located in a separate building from where our room was and required us to walk outside. The weather was too chilly to make that outside walk while in a wet bathing suit, therefore we did not use the pool. The round of golf we played was enjoyable, but I'm glad we only stayed one night.

The resort's breakfast was phenomenal - more options than any I have seen before, and included in the price of the room! The building is outdated on the outside, but rooms are still decently new and beds are comfortable. I am unsure if the place is handicap accessible to 2nd floor rooms - many stairways are common, but an elevator likely exists a long walk from where my room was (as all buildings appear connected).

We came for our anniversary weekend for that last weekend of great up north golf. It poured and was miserable the entire weekend so we didn’t play. The course looked like it was in great shape but very soggy. We did enjoy the resort, however. We had a beautiful room with a huge TV. They have a nice pool with a whirlpool and a sauna, exercise equipment and plenty of towels. Curly’s restaurant was right there and offered a wide variety of good food. The town of Cadillac was close. Breakfast in the main dining room was good. They even gave us a certificate to play golf some other time. We will be back to try the course, but not in late October.

Golf course was in very good playing condition. Greeted with a smile and a joke each round at the first tee. Very playable for average golfers but challenging enough to keep you interested.
Stayed in renovated rooms which were quite nice.
Staff for the entire resort were outstanding. Went in the off season so they were a bit short staffed but they did quite well in spite of it.
Good bar on site and more nearby.

Course was in excellent condition the staff at the hotel and course were pleasant and helpful.
We stayed in the last section that has not been renovated. It was clean and spacious.
The only problem we had was a slow internet.
