“Quaint lunch at a slow pace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

Stopped in for a late lunch. Most menu items have a suggested pairing from their winery. We ordered appetizers, salad and a main entree. The food was delicious and overflowing! Big servings. The wine we did not get to try as much as we would like. Our server was very slow and did not ask if we would like a refill or move on to the next pairing. We ordered a glass of wine to kick off the lunch and that was it. When our next course arrived, we would ask for a glass but was never given anything other than water. I'm fine with slowing down the pace of a well-prepared meal but we sat in between courses for long periods. We were there for two hours and the bill was about $50 per person just to give you an idea of what you can expect. It would have been more if we were able to order and receive more wine.

“Wonderful food and wine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

We (husband, myself, daughter and her boyfriend) decided to drive over to Tabor Hill for a tasting and dinner. The location of the winery is very pretty and the restaurant has large windows that look out upon the scenery. It was a cold day and they had the fireplace going and it was just lovely. We did the tasting. We were offered 6 tastes for $6.00. We enjoyed most of the wines and then trooped off for lunch. Lunch was very good. I had the soup (tomato bisque) and a spinach salad as did my daughter. My husband had the Cuban sandwich which he really liked and the boyfriend had the Kobe beef burger which he said was great. We all had different wines with our food and all in all we had a great time!

“A+ Location, wine and food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

Three of us dined at the Tabor Hill Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is part of the Tabor Hill Winery and the scenery is exceptional. The food was delicious. Two of us had the filet over corn risotto and it was excellent. One friend had the shrimp and scallops over cheddar and jalapeno grits. Spicy but oh so tasty! The wines were very good but my personal favorite was dessert. The winery offers Norman Love artisan chocolate as part of their dessert menu. Flavors include smores, passion fruit, mango, florida orange and many, many more. Would highly recommend a visti to Tabor Hill!

“Lovely tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

We arrived early and were given a personal tour through the vineyards and the winery. Our guide was very personable and I wish that i could remeber his name to share with all of you. He answered our questions and seemed to be happy about it. I definitely recommmend this tour to other travelers.

“Lovely”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

The restaurant is excellent on many levels - the view of the grapevines, the food and service. We didn't do the wine tasting - other than what we had with our meal (and we had been out at several other winerys that afternoon already) - but there was no large crowds when we were there. The food is a little out of the ordinary and inspired -- well done and great presentations. The suggested wine pairings are well done. We had a large party (8) and a reservation for a large party is a must. It was a great way to end our day of wine tasting in the area.
