I am rarely negative about hotels, but this one was bad. The cigarette smoke smell permiates the hotel rooms (from the casino) and in addition the room smelled very mildewy. The sheets were so thin they were sheer and the towels were the lowest grade.
The room size was nice. The food was cheap, and fair quality.

Stayed overnight prior to a charity golf outing on Wild Bluff (great course). The room price was high for the quality, and the whole place pretty much smells like smoke regardless of where you are, but when you add in the gaming package you get dinner, breakfast and $15 in free play at the casino so it balanced out.

The good:

Easy check-in, reasonably friendly staff.
Convenient location to the restaurants and gaming (right in same building)
Easy parking
Bed was more comfortable than I thought it would be.
Air conditioning worked well.
Good water pressure, good hot water (no cold / hot fluctuation)

The 'could be better':

Smokey
Restaurant food / service was marginal, but acceptable
Linens were thin, towels scratchy
Room amenities were cheap and basic
TV's old and small

It's one of the few places to stay in the area, and is the only on-site place, so you're kind of stuck so they don't have a lot of incentive to do better. That being said, I would still stay again for the convenience and the package alone.

my husband and I met another couple here, they had stayed before and liked it. Being a casino hotel, I was expecting the worst. But the room was fine and very clean-also quiet. Odd because the hotel was fully booked but we didn't hear noise from other rooms and minimal hallway noise. This is always an issue for us because my husband is a very light sleeper. The only drawback-and the other review mentioned it also-is the smoke smell. As soon as you walk through the front door it hits you. I also smelled it in the morning before we checked out because they mix smoking and non together in the same part of the hotel.
One other thing-the woman who checked us in acted like she'd rather be anyplace else other than working there. The other employees were fine though.

We stayed here for two nights. It is part of the Bay Mills Casino. It is an average hotel - nothing special. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a non-smoking room but has soon as you hit the lobby area, you could smell smoke from the casino. By staying here, we also got a discount at the Wild Bluff Golf Course right across the street from the hotel.
