All positive thoughts here! Great beach with the ability to go out really far at knee to waist deep water. Went back the next day to take on the trails at the end of the far parking lot. The trail was half through the woods and half through the sand along the beach. About 4-5 miles total. Important to remember running in sand is tough! Great trip and will definitely go back and recommend to all. Enjoy!

Plan two days here. Start early to enjoy the dune trails. Spend the afternoons at the beach. Closer Parkin g than other beaches. Giant waterside and good ice cream too!

This was our third trip to the Dunes and each time is a great time. We brought our dog for the second time and the park makes it easy with the pet friendly area. If you are willing to walk down the beach about a 100 yards into the pet friendly area to the North, it loosens up from so many people and it seems like you are in a less busy area. Will be back as the kids love climbing the dunes and the water is awesome.

It was $8 to park for the day. There is a concession stand and bathrooms. The kids loved to climb the larger sand dunes and run down to the bottom. There is a sand bar that you can swim or walk out to that the kids thought was so cool.

While vacationing in Harbor Country, my extended family took a day trip to Warren Dunes. It came highly recommended by friends and other TripAdvisor patrons. It met and in some respects, exceeded my expectations. if you just want a great, clean beach with a bit of easy wave-action, it's there. The parking lot is right next to the beach, so you don't have much of a walk. There are very challenging sand dunes to climb, if you like to hike and explore. There are campgrounds, a concession stand with lots of lunch options (they take credit cards), and a water slide of some sort next to the beach. I'm sure there is more to do in this large, clean, and accessible park. I encourage you to make time to visit. Oh yeah, it's only $8 for each out-of-state vehicle for an all day pass.
