We're locals, and have eaten at the Red Mesa numerous times. The strengths include the friendly, warm staff. From receiving the first greeting, through all the server visits, to paying the bill, all contacts are positive. I think the employees are well-compensated, professionally-trained, and long-timers, and these factors all come together to contribute to a positive dining experience. (Ask for Kim, one of the best.) Food is very good, and served in plentiful portions. There is a new vegetarian menu. I can't speak knowledgeably about the drinks, but the more-expensive margaritas seem good. Happy hour offers some excellent bargains! It can be noisy at peak times, but what do you expect? It's hard to not look forward to a Red Mesa visit!
