My sister lives just down the street from the Franklin Cider Mill. It's one of the last remaining historical buildings/operations in Franklin. Franklins used to be filled with working farms, old Barns (a few still standing) and beautiful orchards... My sister actually has an old "slaughter house" building in her backyard, that has to be approved by the city to be restored or torn down. Franklin is all about history and preserving it. The donuts and Cider are great at the Mill...usually there is a very long line and wait to get in, the very brief look at how the apples are crushed...etc...but worth a visit, especially with kids....I always take my young nephews there every year when they re open...warm donuts!!!!

Great cider and fun experience for the whole family. We have gone to the cider mill every year, as long as I can remember. Love the cider, as well as the Michigan products they sell, including baked goods, jams, etc.

The Franklin Cider Mill is a delicious and fun experience. On the weekends there are lines, but they move fairly quickly. They also have a few activities for kids on certain weekends, such as a bounce house or face painting. The Franklin cider Mill has great food and drink and is a good time for all, but it is not cheap so bring money!!

Might be a little expensive, but cannot beat the location. A wonderful experience for children and close to our home.

Cannot beat it in Metro Detroit!!

In downtown quaint Franklin Village, this cider mill has been around longer than the roads. You can watch cider being made and then wait in line for hot fried doughnuts (four bites and they are gone) and ice cold cider. There is also a country store that sells fresh fruit, cheese, and hot roasted almonds.

There is a small river than you can sit by while eating with the bees. Afterwards, stroll Franklin and enjoy the homes and park.
