We ate dinner at Hyde Park on the Sunday of memorial weekend. Our family group ranged in age from two months to 95. We had wonderful service, excellent food, and a very attentive staff. We enjoyed everything from excellent salads to their appetizers( Crab cakes and sushi) to excellent entrees (steaks, lamb and seafood) And amazingly saved room for delicious desserts (cheesecake and butter cake with banana foster topping). We often go for their wonderful happy hour, but bow to return often for dinner. Right now the street in front is ripped up, but you can park behind, and enter through the back entrance and not even get into the construction. This is easily the best steakhouse in the area, and hands down has the best service of any restaurant

Friends joined us for Easter brunch, which was a two course menu-ordered (not an all you can eat extravaganza). There were two price points - standard ($19.99) and upgrades ($29.99). I had the wedge salad with candied pecans and blue cheese dressing, which was excellent, followed by Eggs Oscar, a large crab fled cake oped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. It was outstanding. My wife had the chicken with a lemon caper sauce which was excellent . Both were on the "standard" menu, which also included chicken & waffles and various omelets. Our friends ordered from the upgraded menu - Faroe Island salon, which was wonderful, and twin bacon-wrapped filets which were also excellent. Every thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the service was attentive. Because of Old Woodward road construction, be sure to use the back entrance with their valet parking.

Very good happy hour. Stella beer only was only $3 and wine $6. Tuna appetizer was good but flatbread and sliders were ok. Overall great value and the best seating for any happy hour in town! Get there by 4:30 because it fills up fast.

Delicious food on a special holiday, New Year's Eve. Ambience was fine whether a family with small children sat next to a couple sharing a romantic dinner. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and swift yet unobtrusive. Lovely decorations for the holiday, too, but not overkill. Highly recommend special occasions here.
