Description: "Known for being home to "Detroit's Best Burger" or often times as "The Hottest Dive in Town". The Townhouse menu features inventive, classic, all-American, wholesome comfort food, made with the kind of farm fresh ingredients, you won't find anywhere else. The bar is stocked seasonally with colorful glass bottles of infused fruit and spiced vodkas and citrus and pear tequilas. The wine list is eclectic and impressive and the extensive beer menu is as good as it gets. The Mint Julep is to Kentucky what the Basil Smash is to Detroit. Made famous by this most spectacular, modern yet rustic brasserie-style eatery that expands come summertime from its cozy dining room onto a large glistening garden-style patio. Located in the heart of one of Metro Detroit's most fashionable neighborhoods, the menu is "All-American Goodness" and the brunch is out of this world. If you like to people watch, this is the place. Townhouse is open (7) days a week serving lunch, dinner and, brunch on the weekends." "Birmingham's Townhouse Bistro has comfort class ... ... And a burger that reminds us of some Pulp Fiction dialog...." -The Metro Times

“Small but nice”
Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

It is a nice place for a drink and grab a bite to eat. It is small in size so do not expect a lot of room, because there isn't any. Food is nice and staff is really friendly.

“great service, great time”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

The calamari with miso butter was fabulous, but the service was even better! GM Michael and server Justin made sure we had a great time. Enjoyed all the food--truffle fries, salads, sliders, and the monsterous burger (shared with friends). Well priced wine list with interesting options by the glass. The restaurant is amazing in the summer, but the service made it seem just as warm on a cold winter night.

“Love this place for the burgers & Sazeracs!!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Love the burgers and the steak Tartar too! Everything we have tried off the menu has been outstanding! The wine list is nice, but the bartenders and their drinks are exceptional, especially the Sazerac!!!

“Awesome Spot”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

This place is so good. It is tiny in the winter but the summer patio is off the chain. The food is really good. Not a huge variety but good. The old veggie burger was so amazing and the servers other today said it is coming back this fall and winter. The tuna tacos are also great. it's hard to believe it is not even that old. it's new and almost like a sort of landmark in bham. basil smash is also my drink I choice. I love it.

“Poor menu, very poor!!!”
Reviewed September 1, 2012 via mobile

The burger is so so and unreasonably expensive. They have nothing for kids. The salad was definitely not corresponding in quality to the price.
It's a pitty because the location is good but I will not go back.
Oh, and guy, 10$ for your frozen Margarita is a theft.... Change the barman!!!!
