“Michigan Wines”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Lemon Creek Winery offers a cute stop on the Southwest Michigan Wine Tour. The staff is friendly, but the place can get a bit stuffy with the large number of tour busses dropping off throngs of elderly people, The wine is ok, nothing great but not awful either, The tasting costs five dollars and comes with a complimentary wine glass that you keep which adds a nice souvenir. Pours are smaller than most of the other wineries and overall the place is nothing too special.

“Nice experience Some very nice wines”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

This was suggested by staff at another winery. Parking is limited and access would be a challenge for a larger motorhome. Wine tasting was $5 and you keep our glass. It was very hot so we didn't check out the rest of the grounds. There is a nice deck off the tasting room that would be nice on a cooler day.

It was not busy and the person at the tasting bar explained a bit about the winery and some of the events they attend in the area to promote their wines. She then provided a great deal of information about their wines while we sampled. They have some nice offerings

The tasting room is not large so it could be crowded on weekends or holidays. Well worth a visit while checking out other wineries in the area.

“A Nice Little Detour”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

We had not set out to go wine tasting. In fact, we planned on spending the day at Warren Dunes. However, it began to rain in the early afternoon so we had to find something else to do and ended up visiting this winery as well as a neighboring one on the trail.

Wine tasting was $5 and we got to keep our glass. It was raining so we didn't check out the rest of the grounds, but our experience indoors was nice. They did have a bigger dog inside, but he was the older quieter type and well-behaved. A pretty relaxed place and in our experience nice staff. Worth a visit while checking out other wineries in the area.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

Went to Lemon Creek as part of 10th wedding anniversary celebration. My husband & I wanted to try some new wines. We planned on purchasing several bottles to serve @ a party we were hosting later for our anniversary. So DISAPPOINTED. Staff not friendly. Just ignored us as we waited. If you want to feel invisible this is the place to go.

“Plan a short visit or no visit at all”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

Headed out here because of the advertised activities for the memorial day weekend. We ended up visiting three wineries this day. Of the three Lemon Creek was our least favorite by far.

On the positive side the servers were very friendly and though the price of the tasting only covered five tastes they gave us a couple of extra. The problem, the wines do not taste good.

The memorial day activities included live music and an "art" show. The live music was okay but the art show was basically kindergarten arts and crafts. We did not stay long.
