I have been eating at the Euclid Ave, Bay City restaurant since the day it opened, live a mile away. The owner now has cut back on the weekend buffet items, stopped the french fries with sandwich orders, making the customer pay extra for them now. It may seem like a small thing, but subtracting from the regular menu is very poor customer relations. Loyalty runs both ways for regular customers. They also shortened the portion of salad in the taco salads.
Competition is too high to try to make a buck like that. We filled out a customer opinion card twice about our feelings, nothing happened, so we no longer go to the Texan. The owner gambled on losing customers for a penny worth of french fires(his cost) on a plate: he lost!
