My husband spent four weeks at this hotel while working on a project in the area. He worked very long hours, returning late at night, and leaving before dawn in the morning. Some of the things he reported to me were:

1. The second day he was there, he dropped a piece of chocolate on the bed which made a stain on the sheet. When it was still there after two weeks, he started bugging the front desk to get the sheets laundered. Finally, after three weeks, they changed the sheets. 2. About midway through his stay, his room was invaded by dozens of black bugs. 3. The staff would put out milk during the morning, and then leave it out without putting it in an ice bucket, all day & night. When my husband would come through at 5:00 am to put some milk in his coffee, the milk was sour. 4. At 11:00 at night, the staff would turn the elevators off, forcing him to haul his heavy computer bag up the stairs. 5. The front desk attendants couldn't be bothered. Heard enough?

Luckily, when he returned to the area this month, he was able to get into the Hampton.

The stay was terrible. After two days we left to go to the Holiday Inn. Our room was not cleaned and they said we had left the do not distrub sign on the doo. This was untrue.. They called me a liar. There were bugs in the room, the refridgerator growled and the beds ewre uncomfortable. The front staff, manager and general manager were extremely rude. They could not even keep straight what room we were in. If you want a good place to stay it is the Holiday Inn. The Baymont Inn is a disgusting place to stay and does not deserve a rating.

My spouse and I rather enjoyed our stay at Baymont Inn right off of I-94! The room was amazing, top notch right up there with the best! The pool area was amazing, clean water and just the right temperature so relaxing and refreshing!!! Even though they were very busy they still were very accomodating. I deffinately will come back to this property again!

I gave up on staying at Baymont Inns in general about 5 years ago due to several bad experiences with their font desk/ customer service folks but decided to give them another try and see if anything has improved. Well, in short, no, nothing has improved. In fact, if this hotel is any indication, I think Baymont has actually gone downhill even more under the new Wyndham ownership.

This hotel has definitely seen better days. It was probably pretty decent back when Jimmy Carter was in office but these days its run down big time. Just driving up and looking at the exterior doesn't exactly give you the warm fuzzies, the place is falling apart.

The room wasn't much better either, it was small with a bathroom about the size of a Porta-Potty. The furnishings were old and outdated, the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed in ages. Years ago Baymont use to have very comfy pillowtop mattresses, its what they were known for, however, now it looks like they were replaced with extremely firm and uncomfortable ones.

The sad thing is that I actually picked this Baymont because I needed a really good nights rest as I was driving 700 miles the next morning and I use to sleep so well on the old mattresses. Not only was the bed lousy the hotel is right across the street from a sports bar and there was a LOUD, cheesy, horrendous cover band playing out in the parking lot for a bunch of bikers. So there was loud music and bikers revving their engines all night. So with the noise and the hard bed I actually had one of the worst nights sleep I ever had at a hotel and that's saying something since I'm a road warrior who has stayed in over 500 different hotels.

The only positive thing was that the girl who checked us in was really friendly, however, in typical Baymont fashion, the girl who check us out had an attitude, she handed me my receipt and never said thank you, bye, have a nice day, kiss my butt , nothing, nadda, zip, ziltch. Her entire attitude was go away your bothering me.

Needless to say I wont be staying in a Baymont for at least another 5 or 10 years, there are just too many other good hotel chains out there.

I forgot to mention for this wonderful night I paid $98...yikes..!! Almost $100, what a rip off.

Really the only complaint was that there were carpet stains all over the floor and the furniture was dusty. Staff was fine, breakfast was O.K. Good location, even though we were right beside the Interstate, we weren't bothered by the noise. Probably would stay here again.

Ugh. This did not live up to our expectations. The lobby stunk, the halls had dirty carpet and litter, really outdated decor. The room seemed clean enough (other than carpet stains) but my husband had to crawl under the sink to fix the stopper and the keys only worked half the time. Really glad we're only spending a few hours here.
