This was the first stop of my bachelorette party, and it was by far the best! The venue is very cool, unique, different than other wineries. Our server was great, very personable and funny and knowledgeable! The tasting includes spirits which makes the price even more worth it. Was the only winery we purchased wine at throughout the whole day. Unique flavors that aren't too overpowering. Their seasonal salted caramel cream is so great! Will definitely come back again next time in Michigan!

We tried several winery's in the area. Round Barn had some very nice wines but the four of us in our group all agreed that the server we had had a chip on his shoulder. Pour attitude, lousy service, did not explain much that we were tasting, it was like we were bothering him by being there. To many place around to ever think of going back for that kind of treatment.

We made a stop here during the week. We enjoyed the many varieties of wine from dry to sweet. Make sure you try the Walnut creme its amazing!

Stopped here on our way to Traverse City, MI. We have always stopped here on our way thru and found the servers to be friendly and informative. Who knew that their Salted Caramel Creme would be so good!!! I highly recommend it, as well as the Black Walnut Creme. Be careful, it is really good, and it can sneak up on you!

This used to be a nice winery but now it is commercialized. Went here for music and wine tasting. So did 1000 other people. Cover charge to get in. So noisy that you couldn't really hear the singers. Overall disappointment with what they have become here. Bed is good but not at expense of your brand.

We're sorry that our Estate was not what you were looking for on your visit. All of our locations are very different and this one tends to be the busiest. Perhaps on another trip to the area, you may prefer our Round Barn location in Union Pier, Free Run Cellars in Baroda, or Tabor Hill in Buchanan. These locations are more laid back and two of them do have acoustic music during the summer months. Here's to hoping you'll give us another chance in the future.....Cheers!

Thanks so much for your review! We're always glad to have repeat customers, especially those that love our Black Walnut Creme! Just so that you are aware, we are coming out with our new Salted Caramel Creme in October.....which is just as tasty (if not tastier) than the BW Creme. Have a great fall!

My wife and I have been here several times over the years and this was our last time. It used to have a small, local, ambiance feeling and was nice to just hang out on the property. Now it is so commercialized, and the prices are way out of the Market for a Michigan winery...$12 for a tasting per person!!!!! The staff was not friendly at all. They seemed to want everyone to just go away so they could go home (need better staff training). Nothing like paying $24 for 2 tastings only to be treated rude. Several other people tasting were also commenting on the rude staff and high prices. We learned while there that they had recently purchased Tabor Hill Winery, and they own Free Run Cellars also. My feeling is they have gotten to big and are trying to dominate the local market and in the process they feel like an overpriced retail store. I wished they would have just stuck to local grown grapes to make wines and not try and get into every category of beverages (vodka, agave, bourbon, whiskey, beer, cider)....all way overpriced. Stick to the smaller wineries if you're planning a wine tasting trip. The prices and the tastes are much better at so many other wineries. These guys just seem to be looking to go National with their products and have forgotten "local"...just my opinion.

We were on the wine trail along Red Arrow Highway and stopped in here. Talk about a cool venue - the round barn is 121 years old and was disassembled at an Amish farm in Indiana and brought to Baroda and reassembled. The red barn adjacent to the round barn also is from the same farm, where it was a hog barn. There was an event the Sunday that we arrived and the gentleman at the entry seemed confused that we only wanted to come in and taste the wine. He also was a bit confused when we asked if they served flights. So my lovely wife asked about just getting a glass of wine and he let us in. Very friendly staff, very cool surroundings. The wine was average (so says the wife, as I was designated driver). We wandered around, she sipped her wine. If you go, go for the barn.
