Crook Jaw Inn
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This was our first time to Cape Cod. Our friend from Massachusetts had stayed here many times and highly recommended the Crook Jaw Inn. Our experience was that and so much more. Brian, the inn keeper, made us feel so welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The inn was so quant, exceptionally clean and very cozy. Brian couldn't have been more helpful with places to see and dine. We appreciated the history lesson on the Inn, which was built in 1798, and also the history of Cape Cod. Brian served the most delicious breakfast that consisted of a veggie frittata; fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins....yummy!!! We dined at the Old Yarmouth Inn, at Brian's suggestion, and it was fabulous!!!! We are highly recommending that our friends and families stay at the Crook Jaw Inn when visiting Cape Cod. We are already planning our next visit to Cape Cod and we will be staying much longer at the Crook Jaw Inn. Thank you Brian for making our visit so pleasant. Jack and Sheryl, Plymouth, Michigan

This was not my first visit to the Crook Jaw Inn and as in my past visits I was treated to a very special experience. I brought friends from Michigan who were experiencing their first visit to Cape Cod and I thought this was the perfect place to bring them. The Inn is so unique and decorated so nicely that you really get the feel of Cape Cod. Every room is spotless and has it's own charm. Brian, the owner, cannot do enough for you sitting down with us upon arrival to see if we had any special requests and to make sure we felt at home. I did ask Brian for suggestions as to where he thought we should go for a first time visit and his ideas were great. The presentation at breakfast was beautiful and the food was exceptional. The Crook Jaw Inn is a very special place with an owner who truly cares about every guest who walks in his door. It's a real gem!!! I will go back!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are great and each has it's own special charm so would not matter to me which room I s...

We had a great stay at Crook Jaw, the Inn Keeper has hospitality down to a science and the location couldn't be better.
It started with the inn keeper showing us a map of the Cape and the places to go and see. He asked us what we liked and if we had any plans. The Inn Keeper probably spent 40 minutes providing us dos and don'ts. When we returned from the night festivities there was water and, ahem... recovery beverages (water) waiting for us. In the morning, we were served amazing breakfasts, updated on the weather, and given more detailed information about what we had planned. What's more is the Inn Keeper anticipated everything . . . forgot a couple beach towels or chairs . . . no problem. Wanna take some muffins leftover from breakfast to the beach? . . . no problem. The Inn Keeper even mailed my wife's expensive shampoo back to us.

The location is fantastic, central to everything. P town was a short but scenic drive up the coast. Chatham and Hyannis are just moments away. But in the evening, the Inn is quiet and you can enjoy peace on the back patio.

We will be coming again and highly recommend it!

Following a recommendation, we booked a three night stay at the Crook Jaw Inn. Our accommodation was of a very high standard, our room was beautifully decorated with all the amenities a traveller would require. Our host Brian could not be more helpful and informative, his attention to detail in cleanliness, food and any other requirements, to make your stay comfortable, was nothing less than exemplary. We highly recommend any visitors to the Cape, to stay with Innkeeper Brian at the Crook Jaw Inn!

Room Tip: Stayed in Room 2, ground floor, was fabulous, we loved it!

Great house, extremely accommodating, friendly host, great breakfast. Brian really took care of us in his charming house, and we got a great flavor of small town Cape Cod. The room was cozy, nicely furnished and very comfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Crook Jaw during a recent long weekend and picked it because of it's great location. We quickly realized the charming and intimate five room inn was a great place to stay in general. When we arrived, the innkeeper Brian was helpful and accommodating, giving us directions to places he thought we'd enjoy, and providing excellent dining recommendations. The rooms he keeps are cute and cozy, and the breakfasts are delicious and varied. Another couple staying there was on their fourth stay at the Crook Jaw, and it's so easy to see why. I wished we could have stayed there longer but hope to one day go back.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Fireside room, which has a working fireplace.

We only spent one night, but would return again. The Inn is located very conveniently, an easy walk to restaurants and shopts. The service was wonderful. Food was fresh, tasty and ample. Brian aimed to please, ensuring that guests had drinks and food as they requested.

The rooms were comfortable, and exquisetely decorated. Everything was in working order, and very clean. There are several sitting rooms on the first floor.

A few special touches -- electric outlets are plentiful, and Brian (a retired IT professional) ensures good wireless internet access. There is a guest computer on the first floor with a printer.
