As we made a mad dash away from Provincetown -- a tedious place that's wandering somewhere between the 60's and 70's -- the question of where to eat became a pressing issue. Then we remembered Inaho!

A sushi restaurant is an obvious asset to Cape Cod where the norm is deep-fried scrod and lobster rolls. Nothing beyond the comfort zone here but imaginative, colorful and fresh rolls and a good wine list. A winner!

Not the 1st time at this restaurants and still puzzled. The food is good, the service is bad and we can't figure what the owners are thinking (if in fact they know what's happening at their restaurant).
As we walked by the Sushi bar where normally one expects the Sushi chefs to give you a smile and greet you, their chefs gave us looks as if we had 2 heads.
The hostess is rough, we walked in on a slow October Monday night, there could not have been more than 10 people seated, yet she asked if we had a reservation and perused the list, after a minute or two saying its not a problem and will have a table ready in a few minutes.
Why would a nearly empty restaurant NOT have tables ready is puzzling in itself. While we stood waiting for our table, they buzzed around us as if we were in their way.
One of us asked for a Hand-roll with spicy tuna, the waitress snapped back saying they don't make hand-rolls with spicy tuna.
We placed our orders and when they arrived we felt as if we were in the way as she nearly dropped the plates in front of each of us.
On a Sashimi plate one normally expects evenly and thinly sliced fish, I got oddly sliced pieces, some shaped as chunks I have never seen before.
The flavor was good, the service and sushi presentation was not on par.
Highly disappointing, as there are so few good Sushi restaurants nearby.
Maybe the owners will make some desirable changes in the future.

Food good but choice limited unless you wanted sushi! Atmosphere not great! No dessert menu or drinks menu - just verbal! Check put in front of us before we asked for it and felt we were being pushed out even though restaurant not busy! Spoilt the evening!

The staff lack character and the service is patchy, but the food is exceptionally good.
Sushi was incredibly fresh, elegantly prepared and generously portioned. So good we went back three nights in a row...not that the staff noticed.

The best meal we had on the Cape. Very attentive and helpful service. Specials were excellent fusions of classic sushi and North American seafood. Presentation was excellent. Good wine list.

We had banana tempura for dessert which is much better than it sounds.

Worth checking out
