Cape Cod is fantastic, and so is this place, it really was special. After many weeks of travelling throughout America we had seen some pretty amazing places and experienced a variety of service; but the Inn at Cape Cod has raised the bar. All inn's should be this way. The inn keepers really do care, and within twenty seconds of meeting them you feel like old friends. We had the Tally Ho room, and although the cheapest, it by far exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were in a historic manor house.... In fact we were! The place is colourful with character and oozes style. Yarmouth port is by far the prettiest of areas of the Cape, and you don't have to travel far to explore the beautiful beach or peaceful lake. We urge you to experience this place... You will treasure these memories forever.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Inn and it was definitely the best accommodation we had in our four weeks of touring New York and New England area - and we're still dreaming about the delicious breakfasts! The suggestions we were given for activities and restaurants on the Cape were very helpful and all proved most enjoyable. It was so delightful to return after a day's sightseeing and find delicious home baked goodies to have with the coffee and tea that was always available in the charming living room. We will definitely return to this idyllic inn.

I stayed at the Inn with my parents during the 4th of July weekend. It was the first time we visited Cape Cod and Mike and Helen, the owners of this lovely B&B, did everything you can imagine and more so that we made the most out of our short visit - restaurant tips, reservations for airplanes and whale watching, advice on where to go (and what to avoid), accomodating for food allergies by making a special breakfast etc. One of the most wonderful things is how enthousiastic they are about the area - it's contagious!

We'll make sure to come back to Cape Cod and the Inn and I can but recommend for everybody who's looking for a nice and relaxed Cape Cod vacation or weekend away to go there. Oh and if you do, and decide to visit Nantucket for the day (also very much recommended), ask Mike and Helen for the contact details of David the cabdriver to pick you up from the ferry or airport at Nantucket. Without a doubt, the most friendly, warmhearted, knowledgeable cab driver I've ever met!

This is more than a hotel; it is a complete experience in the way a hotel should be run!! If you book for one night you will wish you had booked for more!! Helen & Mike are the complete hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and their knowledge of what to do and see is fantastic as is there inn. This was the last of our stays at several inns in the ‘New England’ area (all of which were good) but this inn was far and away above all of these visited.
5 Stars all the way. Thanks Helen and Mike!!
PS to travellers to this Helen & Mikes Inn. For your evening meals, eat in the ‘Yarmouth Inn’ opposite service and food is fantastic. So much so we ate there for the 3 nights we stayed and almost became classed a regular!! (My pint just appeared without asking!!)

We chose this location as a last minute trip over Easter weekend and were thrilled with our choice. The Inn at Cape Cod is an amazingly restored historical house and the owners have put in many hours into making this the perfect B&B. We enjoyed everything about our stay there including the wonderful breakfasts prepared for us every day!

As for the people who posted negatively about "rules". All that the owners asked for was some simple consideration such as not spoiling their white towels and not spilling drinks on the nice carpets. We did not think that those were hard things to accept, especially when they went out of their way making cookies, providing coffee and tea all day, and just being delightful people to be around.

Additionally, the hotel is in a great location both in Yarmouth Port and the Cape as well. We found it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go and liked having a great place to come back to after our sightseeing was done.

I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

Our first trip to Cape Cod, and were blessed to find this beautiful Inn. The owners are a delightful English couple who have lived in France as well, and have restored this wonderful home with truly warm and cozy taste. They have a full library, and lovely living room with fireplace. The breakfast room is surrounded by windows overlooking the pristine grounds. This Inn looks like a mansion outside, and it's just as beautiful on the inside. It was a great find for our two day stay. The owners couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay for our engagement weekend. Mike & Helen were extremely welcoming, providing great suggestions in advance on restaurants and places to visit nearby. Very Comfortable inn, felt at home, nice area to sit enjoy breakfast, sit outside, with hosts that even surprised us with a small bottle of champagne to cheers our weekend. Look forward to returning.
