“Labor Day weekend”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

This park is very scenic. I was born in Worcester, and moved when I was two. I always wanted to go back and see it. I appreciate Amtrak for including Elm Park in the 'places to see'. This is something to see if you have an hour or so.

“Tired park under going facelift”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

Elm Park should be a jewel in the city, but the years have not bed kind. While some statues harken back to the park's heyday, the sidewalks and paths are rough and the bridges- an old renovation gone wrong- are too steep for easy walking. Hopefully a new renovation of the benches will be a step in the right direction. More use of the park for events like the summer art show should be brought back.

“Sweet little park in the middle of the city”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Elm Park is a sweet little public park (I believe oldest in the country) that is perfect for all ages. Nice place to walk, push a stroller, or eat lunch on a bench. Nice little playground that appears to be well used (my children are now grown). The park has an art installation during the year and several other events and the very shallow pond is used for ice skating. Parking is plentiful and I have always felt very safe in the area (the park is open, no scary, hidden areas). Kept clean by the city; one of the FEW gems in Worcester (Worcester Art Musuem is amazing).
