“Best hotdogs in this solar system”

Good friends introduced me to this local food temple when I got to this city. Great hotdogs in a unique environment. A must see/taste for everybody who does not have blocked arteries (yet).

“My dog place”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

Many years of dining at coney island. Enjoy the many memories. The hot dogs with everything is great. Wish they would take plastic but that could be part of the charm. Great on a saturday afternoon.

“the best period”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

simply the best dog you'll have anywhere. 40 years and still going back once a week. Get the dogs with everything on them. The chili is pretty good too.

“Simply the best”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

When looking for a simple hot dog, it is best not to over think it. Go to the source. Coney Island Hotdogs is the source. Only place I know where you can order, pay, and have your made to order lunch waiting for you almost immediately. These folks don't mess around; great hotdogs, traditional soft buns and delicious toppings. Try a couple with their sauce (a light chili sauce, meat but no beans), chopped onions (they put a ton on but these are not very sharp onions, they add more of a crunch), and some mustard. They offer other toppings, cheese, ketchup, relish, I don't think I have ever seen sauerkraut. No fries so get a bag of chips, and a Polar soda or go really old school and have a chocolate milk. Plenty of booths to sit at, or if you have ordered 6 or more just for yourself, run back to your car, drive away, and start feasting.

“Pork in the hotdogs”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

I grew up on Coney Island hot dogs but I value them equally to Hot dog Annies. I do love the chili and onions as well as the steamed buns. In the last 2 years I have cut out pork from my diet. I found out Coney's Hot dogs are a pork mixture. Unfortunate. if they offered a beef or even chicken hotdog that would be really cool.

As a kid I remember the dogs were only .75. It is a sign of the times

I had to put the oldest date I could but I really haven't been back since March 2011.
