The Sahara is on route 9 near the Sole Proprietor. The decor is cool...chandeliers with something like 50 bulbs apiece. The fact that some are always dimmer than others or out lends to the feeling that you are someplace different. The ceilings are painted to represent the sky. The middle-eastern / lebanese menu choices range from kebobs to my favorite -Shawarma (sp?) a dish of spiced beef on rice. There is a full bar with a list of fun drinks like the camel ride. Service is usually excellent and there is a pretty extensive selection of deserts. Take the chocoholic in your life there for the hot chocolate. The mug should have a diving board on it its so big! Given the modest cost of dinner you'll find it hard to complain about the Sahara.
